GulfRoots y Familias Unidas en Acci\u00f3n estaban afortunados dar la bienvenida a Bocafloja, quien mostr\u00f3 su documental bello EnClave y su poes\u00eda hablada muy poderosa. Nosotros comimos tamales, los ni\u00f1os jugaron y dibujaron, discutimos la justicia medioambiental, la democracia, la raza, y dignidad, y m\u00e1s que todo disfrutamos juntos. Deseamos a seguir construyendo relaciones y poder con todo de la comunidad del Golfo.<br><br>De EnClave: \u201cVamos a sumergirnos en nuestro mar inherente, en la imensidad del oceano, de nuestro genealog\u00eda&#8230;En esta playa, abrazamos nuestros cuerpos, honramos a las Marias en nuestra linaje. Cultural organizing is climate organizing! <br><br>Thank you, New Orleans community, for a very special, bilingual community celebration last Thursday. GulfRoots and Familias Unidas en Acci\u00f3n were blessed to host Bocafloja, who showcased his gorgeous film \u201cEnClave\u201d and his powerful spoken word poetry. We ate tamales, the children played and colored pictures, we discussed environmental justice, democracy, race, and dignity, and most of all we had fun together! We look forward to continuing to build relationships and power across the entire Gulf community.<br><br>From EnClave: \u201cLet\u2019s dive into our embodied sea, the immensity of the ocean, of our ancestry&#8230;On the beach, we embrace our bodies, honoring the Marias in our bloodline.
